Website operation, security and compliance
We process limited technical data to operate and secure the Website, and data required to comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Legal basis: Articles 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(c), as applicable.
5. Contact Forms and Communication Preferences
You may indicate whether you prefer contact by email, phone or WhatsApp. Selecting a communication channel does not mean you consent to unrelated marketing. Required form fields are necessary to respond to the relevant enquiry; optional information is voluntary.
6. Newsletter and Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp, operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC and relevant affiliates, to manage subscriptions and send email communications. Mailchimp may process email addresses, subscription and consent records, unsubscribe information and, depending on configuration, email delivery, open and click information. You can withdraw newsletter consent through the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us. The Website may use necessary cookies or similar technologies for security, operation and preferences. Non-essential technologies will be activated only after consent where required. Please consult our separate Cookie Policy and available cookie settings.
8. Sharing Personal Data
We do not sell personal data. We may share it as necessary with hosting and maintenance providers, communication providers, Mailchimp, professional advisers, service providers assisting with enquiries, and authorities where legally required. Processors acting on our behalf must be subject to appropriate safeguards.
9. International Transfers
Some providers, including Mailchimp, may process data outside the EEA, including the United States. Where required, we rely on an applicable European Commission adequacy decision (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered certified recipients), Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful Chapter V GDPR mechanism. Contact us for information on applicable safeguards.
10. Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for its purpose, legal obligations and legitimate claims. Proposed retention periods: general enquiries up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication; ownership, investment and business enquiries up to 36 months after the last meaningful interaction; inspection stay enquiries up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication; newsletter records while subscribed, with limited compliance records retained afterwards where justified.
11. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and reasonable system safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.
12. Your GDPR Rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing, withdraw consent, and exercise rights concerning solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. We do not intend to conduct such automated decision-making. Contact info@oasismeu.com to exercise your rights. We generally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions and identity verification where needed.
13. Complaints
You may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), https://azop.hr/, or another competent EU/EEA supervisory authority. You may also contact us first to resolve concerns.
14. Third-Party Websites
Links to independent websites, social media and services are subject to those providers’ own privacy practices. Embedded third-party content may require additional disclosures and consent controls.
15. Children’s Privacy
Our Website is primarily intended for adults considering ownership, hospitality and business opportunities. We do not knowingly seek personal data from children and will take appropriate steps if such processing is identified without a lawful basis.
